Five months since my last post doesn't seem that bad in light of my epic failure to blog much at since I moved to Cardiff. Work continues and I've started two more educational courses because last year simply wasn't enough (!) I am now doing English Literature A level as an evening class and a Level 5 course in teaching literacy. The first for fun and the second because I hope it will improve my employability.
It's a lot of work on top of a job and I think I may well have bitten off more than I can chew, so to speak. That's ok; I'll get it done within an academic year and I won't look at another book for a considerable while!

Other news, well... there really isn't any to speak of. Most of my life is taken up with work and study. I did become a church steward and the endless meetings take up the rest!

It's an odd job, being a church steward. I expect myself to be nice to people all the time but I can't quite manage it.

Perhaps if I blogged more often these days I would be able to find witty anecdotes to put forth, but living in the city just doens't have the same vignette value as the village... I will have to be on the look out for more things to report. Until I find some, however, I think I'll leave this here.
I'm alive, reasonably well and reasonably content and that's more than I can say for the previous few years. That's an improvement.
