Just a little test post to see how my new blogger 'app' works as I finally drag myself into the 21st century and start using a smartphone. Since I haven't blogged for about a year, despite promises that I would be more faithful, I am hoping that the convenience of this 'app' will encourage me to do so. We shall see. The PGCE is almost finished and I can hardly believe it. The academic year has literally slipped through my fingers without me noticing. The start of it seemed like an interminable maze of education theory that somehow I managed to make a decent fist of ploughing through and the teaching practice has gone alternatively too slowly and much too fast. One thing is certain, when I can be bothered, I am still a damn good teacher. The problem is really that mostly I can't be bothered... I am not sure what I am going to, or can do about that... Once the final essay is finished, I will have a serious think about that. Until then...there are lots of cups of tea...
