Conversations overheard...
My housemate, The Poison Pixie (not nicknamed by me and also known as Pix), and I have gone out to acquire an all day breakfast. Because it's Sunday and because we can, we go across the city to a cafe he likes. It's packed so we cross the street and find another one. It's busy but there is space for us so we go in and order our food. There are four students at a nearby table, one of whom is the definitive 'Posh Tosser'. You know, the type you could replace with a horse and not know the difference, the type who will replace David Cameron in a few years and have even less of a clue and the type who feels the need to broadcast his poshness to the entire room... and this is part of the conversation to which we were privy this morning...
Student One: blah blah blah Toy Story 3....
Posh Tosser: Oh yah, I've been told I'll cry if I watch it...
Student One: Yes... I cried... it was a bit sad.
Posh Tosser: Oh yah, I cried at One and Two... actually, I cried when I realised that I couldn't meet the characters from Toy Story because they weren't real...
Student One: mumble mumble mumble
Posh Tosser: Oh yah... I had a little cry to myself... oh my, don't you dare tell ANYone I just told you that, I can't actually believe I told you that...!
Well, Posh Tosser, not only did you tell them, but you annoyed me sufficiently with your loud mouth that you have told a little piece of the blogosphere, too!
